Your device generates its own WireGuard key pair. The private key never leaves it; the public key is your only identity. No signup, no password, nothing to breach.
Stats stay on your phone
Speed, traffic and session time are measured on the device and displayed on the device. They are never uploaded — we could not chart your usage if we wanted to.
Smart location picking
Pick a place, not a machine: the app routes you to the least-loaded server in that location automatically, with live load shown for every server if you prefer to choose yourself.

How it works
Three steps, no forms
Install and open
No signup screen. The app generates your WireGuard key pair on the device the first time it runs — that key pair is your whole identity.
Pick a location
Choose a country and city. The app connects you to the least-loaded server there; power users can pin a specific server from the live list.
Press the button
One tap brings the encrypted tunnel up in about a second. Press it again to disconnect. That is the entire interface.

Questions, answered plainly
Does Wombat VPN really keep no logs?
Yes, and structurally so. Our servers store exactly three things: your device’s WireGuard public key with its assigned tunnel IP, an anonymous subscription status, and traffic totals aggregated per server. There is no browsing history, no DNS log, no per-user connection timestamp and no stored client IP address — the database has no place to put them.
Do I need an account to use Wombat VPN?
No. There is no signup, no email and no password. Your device generates a WireGuard key pair locally; the private key never leaves the device and the public key is the only identity our servers ever see.
What VPN protocol does Wombat VPN use?
WireGuard, and only WireGuard: modern cryptography, a small auditable codebase, near-instant handshakes and excellent battery behaviour on mobile. We do not ship weaker fallback protocols.
Is Wombat VPN free?
There is a free plan with a selection of free servers and no time limit. Wombat Premium adds all locations and up to five devices, billed monthly or yearly through Google Play or the App Store.
Which platforms are supported?
Android and iOS, from a single app with one big connect button. The apps are in final testing and will be published on Google Play and the App Store.
Where are the servers?
In Europe today, with more regions being added. The app shows every location with its live load, connects you to the least-loaded server automatically, and still lets you pin a specific one.
How is Wombat VPN different from other no-logs VPNs?
Most VPNs promise no logs as a policy. We designed the backend so the promise is physical: identifiers never enter the schema, web and API access logs are disabled at the server level, and traffic is only ever counted per server — the privacy policy enumerates every stored field in one short list.
